Booking and Confirmation

The availability of the maxi cabs has a big impact on the reservations you make. If you require immediate confirmation of your reservations, you can get in touch with us directly to find out how things stand.

You will receive prompt notification of your reservations for general pre-bookings made online. The emails will include information about your reservation and, if applicable, the expected pickup time.

Additional Passengers, Luggage, Additional Drop Offs and Pickups

The number of passengers must be known in advance. Any changes to the number of passengers or luggage must be made at least two hours before departure.

Additional charges may apply according to the change.

Additional fees for additional pickups and drops-offs may be charged for fixed price reservations.

Festival reservations

For special occasions like Christmas and New Year’s Day, there might be an extra fee.

Vehicle Size

We advise you to make a wise vehicle choice before confirming the ride. If the wrong type of vehicle is selected for the transportation, we accept no liability. thus leading to any delays or missed deadlines.


The use of our Services is free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce a fee for the use of our Services. If we decide to introduce such a fee, we shall inform you accordingly and allow you to either continue or terminate using our Services.

In some cases, we may authorise a temporary charge on your credit card (or whatever payment method you use) for any amount up to $1.00 to verify that your card is open and in good standing. This charge will appear as ‘pending’ and will be automatically removed after verification.

We shall charge you for the services provided to you by the drivers on behalf of the drivers. You agree that you will pay for all services, and that we may charge your credit card as provided by you for the services (including any taxes and late fees, as applicable) that may be accrued by or in connection with your account. You are responsible for the timely payment of all fees and for providing us with a valid credit card for payment of all fees at all times.

Charges to you will include, but not be limited to, the metered fare plus any tolls levies or extras that may apply to your ride. You agree to pay an additional service fee of 5% in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, the Australian Capital Territory and in the Northern Territory and Tasmania. This charge will be supplementary to your fare at the end of your trip.

If we use a third-party payment processor (the “Payment Processor”) to link your credit card account to the Service, this paragraph will apply. The processing of payments or credits, as applicable, in connection with your use of the Service will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Processor and your credit card issuer in addition to these Terms and Conditions. We are not responsible for any errors by the Payment Processor. In connection with your use of the Services, we will obtain certain transaction details, which we will use solely in accordance with its Privacy and Cookie Notice.

Payment Methods

At the time of transfer, you can give the driver cash to cover the costs.

When making reservations, payment can also be made using PayPal, credit cards, and debit cards.

Pickups at the Airport and Flight Delays

With regard to the airport transfers, our driver will meet you when you arrive at the airport. For efficient communication, you must specify the flight’s time and other relevant details.

The passengers will be required to pay the airport toll during their transfer to the airport.

Since we don’t believe that customers should be charged for waiting time, we monitor the status of the flights and modify the booking time as necessary.

After their landing time, waiting fees may be charged for international flights for one hour and domestic flights for thirty minutes.

No Show Charges

No show fees will be charged if the passengers do not appear at the time of pickup at the specified location, whether it is an airport transfer, cruise transfer, hotel pickup, or private pickup.

It is your responsibility to get in touch with us if you can’t find the driver so that everything can be coordinated smoothly. You are responsible for paying no-show fees if you have not contacted us for any other mode of transportation.

You won’t get a refund if you made the reservations online and paid in full. Additionally, deductions will be made in accordance with the security provided by the debit or credit card on the account if the payment is not made.


Any cancellation or changes must be advised at least 3 hours prior to the booking time, or we reserve the rights to keep the deposits or charge any cancellation fee.

The refunds on your maxi cabs bookings through Sky Maxi Cabs will be made on the following occasions:

If the cancellation is made with a 12-hour prior notice.

If the cancellation is notified less than 12-hours.

If the transfer is booked for the wrong date, wrong flight, or any other irrelevant information.

If the passenger leaves the pickup point without any information.

Toll Charges

Toll charges can be charged on top of quoted prices.

Waiting Time Surcharge

A waiting time of $1.50 per minute can be charged as per the driver discretion.

Credit Card Payment Surcharge

Payments by Debit/Credit may incur a surcharge of 4.4%.
